Sneak Peek OTTOBRE woman 5/2010 Autumn/Winter Issue

OTTOBRE design® woman Autumn/Winter issue 5/2010 will be published on August 27, 2010.
This issue includes 20 designs for women in sizes 34-52.



The themes are:

AUTUMNAL COLOR IMPRESSIONS
The delicious wool fabrics and knits of this season give inspiration to new sewing projects. We designed stylish wool coats, jersey tops, a lovely wool-knit dress and elegant pants for professional women. The fabulous multi-use knit wrap is easy to make and can be used to create a different look for your outfit on every day of the week.
Sizes 34-46, 44-52 and 34-52

FINDING JOY IN EVERYDAY LIFE
Meeting up with a friend for a cup of coffee brightens up the daily routine. Besides practical jersey tops and tunics, you can complement your wardrobe with a luxurious silk blouse, a folklore-style skirt and various pants. For sporty women we designed a softshell hoodie, a double-layer sports top and gym pants.

Taas vähän suomeakin sekaan :) Hyvän näköisiä malleja, tosiaankin. Täällä kun nuo lapset kasvavat, ei ihan kaikki äidin ideoimat vaatteet enää kelpaa. Poikaki -10v - vihjasi, että ihan peruspaitaa vaan ompelet, ei mitään aplikointeja. Mutta nehän siinä ne jujut onkin ;) Siispä itselle ompelemaan. Kun se rohkeus vielä löytyisi käyttää kunnolla värejä. Lehteä odotellessa...

Äsken se tuli postilaatikkooni, aivan upea lehti! Minulla on kaapillinen kaavalehtiä ja tämä, voi, tämä on paras! Kyynelet nousivat silmiini lehteä selatessa... Lähes jokainen vaate kuin minulle suunniteltuja. Olen kapealanteinen, pömppömahainen ja rintava ja tähän lehteen oli saatu väljempivyötäröiset housut ja toppi/tunika johon löytyy muokkausohje rintavalle! Ja tuo upea vaaleasininen villakangastakki, sekin on ihan minun malliseni, nyt vain äkkiä lapset päiväunille ja ompelukone surisemaan. Wau! Kiitos!

Vihdoin sellainen kaavalehti, jossa on oikeasti vaikka miten monta hyvää kaavaa, jotka voisi kaikki tehdä! Toteutin itselleni tuon sinikuvioisen tunikan, tosin violettina ja tykkäsin kovasti :)

in the issue, you mention that for the t-shirt of page 28 (Susie/Bessie ?), it is necessary to adapt de chest for big sizes, and invite us to check your blog. But I cannot find any post related to this matter. Do you plan to do anything, or is it just necessary to use the pattern as provided in the magazine ?
