OTTOBRE spring issue 1/2012 will arrive soon!

It has been a while since the last post. We have so much to do and so little time... we are so sorry we have forgotten you all.

So what's going on. We have been moving again – this time we moved our sewing studio from second floor to basement. Oh boy, what a job.  (We won't ever move again...I promise.) You can imagine the amount of fabric scraps, patterns, magazines, pins, ribbons and everything what  true sewistas hoard. So we needed to dust and reorganize everything. All's well that ends well. We will show you a little video from our new studio, as soon we settle down for a little longer moment.

While we were busy with other things, our spring issue arrived from printers. We are happy to announce you it has been packed and posted to subscribers and resellers during last weekend.

Now all you need to do is start stalking your mailman!

OUR COLORFUL SPRING ISSUE INCLUDES FOLLOWING THEMES

BUTTERFLIES AND BEETLES
The first butterflies emerging from hibernation are definite signs of spring. A velour dress, a tunic, a jersey top, leggings, narrow-leg cargo pants, a poplin coat and a rose-trimmed hat for little girls. Retro-style overalls, sweatpants, a T-shirt and a hooded velour jacket for boys. Sizes 80-134 cm

INDIAN STORIES
Children love hearing intriguing stories about life in bygone times while playing Indians. T-shirts, sweatpants, recycled jeans, a plaid shirt, tunics and hippie-style velveteen pants. Sizes 122-170 cm

SMALL WONDERS
Fresh Scandinavian print patterns are inspiring and just perfect for baby clothes. Bodysuits, coveralls, jersey and velour pants, an apron dress and a jersey jacket. A quilted patchwork play mat and a colorful pennant bunting to pep up the baby’s bedroom. Sizes 50-92 cm

SPRING IN DENIM
Denim looks always trendy and lends itself well to various casual spring clothes. A little denim skirt, recycled jeans and a ruffle skirt plus a polo shirt, two beautiful tunics and a T-shirt. Sizes 128-170 cm

ABOUT THE GIVEAWAY...

(the one which was supposed to be a quick one, but turned to be slower than ever.)

Thank you all for participating our giveaway. The first closest comment was So Bella's: UNITARD it will be. Unitard costume with long legs and sleeves. You can modify it to dancing or gymnastic costume or role play costume as we did. Unfortunately we were unable to push this pattern on our new spring issue, so we decided to make a separate pattern package of it. You'll hear more about it soon.

Uudessa lehdessä recycled-farkkujen yhteydessä kehoitetaan tutustumaan blogista löytyvään vaihevaiheelta kertomukseen, mutta en löydä sitä mistään. Onko sitä vielä julkaistukaan? Vai missä luuraa?

My issue came with the mail today! Great patterns again. Especially the garland and the baby playing rug. I also liked the recycled jeans. I did something just like that a while ago with an old jeans of my husband. http://femkeismaria.blogspot.com/2011/06/recycling-dickies-jeans.html

Olisikohan mahdollista saada koko aakkoset?

I was wondering if the Little Houses knit pants from this issue are designed to fit over cloth nappies?

Thank you!
