If my issue arrives this weekend, it will be a perfect b-day gift as my b-day is on Saturday...keeping my fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteJust perused (okay, consumed!) the new issue at the website --- I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! So many great patterns in there -- can hardly wait to get it!
ReplyDeleteToday I recieved my Ottobre, thx for the little girl´s swimmsuit. It is exactly what I was missing in my previous issues. And regarding the vliseline products on your website, thx for your offer but it would be a little too expensive for me to get it shipped. I will try to search for a local dealer or some equivalent.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks great! I can´t wait to see the magazine at my mailbox.
ReplyDeleteI just got my issued and I can't wait to start sewing! There are so many lovely designs, I don't know what to make first.
ReplyDeleteMine arrived today and I am so in love with it - cant wait to get cracking :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I have been waiting for a pattern for younger kids' jeans - thanks!
ReplyDeleteBeing Australian, where we are very skin conscious, I was a little disappointed that you didn't include a pattern for a rash vest in the swimming costume section. We generally cover up when we are at the beach, otherwise the kids end up with terrible sunburn. Perhaps next time for the rash vest...
I've already made 5 things from this issue - all reviewed at patternreview.com - love it, love it, love it!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great!!... No words to express how good it is.. awesome, cute..
ReplyDeleteLooks so cute and great! Colorful and trendy childrens clothing..
ReplyDeletei am really pleased with this one... only the price of the magazine is rely high I think...
ReplyDeleteshame
I got mine today and I am IN LOVE!!!
ReplyDeleteHi- Putting in my thanks for the current issue, my three boys are very happy with all the new creations. Just wondering if the sizes- 104cm or hat size 52, for example, ....do they include room to grow or should I size up if the child measures close to those numbers??? Also would love to see some classic boys boxers (for knits and wovens) and brief style underwear for boys...a great way to use up scraps of expensive knit fabric...Thanks Katja Magus

Katja!
ReplyDeleteThe size 104 is made to fit perfect for a child who's height is 104 cm. The patterns do have the necessary ease to move an play free, but not actually room to grow.
In hats we have 2-3 cm ease. Always measure your own child and compare the measurements with our size charts.
If your child is 100-103 cm, I would take the size 104. If she/he is 104..109 cm, I would compare her/his width measurements to size chart and choose the one which fits better (104 or 110) and lengthen the sleeves and pants a little bit if necessary. As you can see from the pattern sheet, the differences between sizes are rather small in widths.
We are planning to make a quick "how-to-do-it" quide for most common pattern modifications soon. We need to finish the autumn issue first.
Stay tuned!

Underwear patterns!
ReplyDeleteNice idea to recycle scraps and leftover pieces in undies.
You find a lot of nice underwear patterns in our older issue 4/2004. Take a look on our website!
